Curt's Work History

Curt's work history began in 1970 as a shipping clerk/steward in his father's military aircraft hardware business. Race Manufacturing and Supply Company" (RAMCO) manufactured specialty hardware and provided high volume stringent packaging solutions for military aircraft fasteners. These products were supplied directly to "Defense Industrial Supply Company" in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Due to the importance and necessity of strict quality control require by United States Military's Defense Depots, the federal government closely scrutinized all operations. RAMCO had a flawless track record with the United States Defense Department and NASA.

During the 1980's and 1990's

During the 1980's and 1990's, Curt worked periodically in the Solar Industry. He has installed and serviced commercial and residential hot water systems throughout the Southeast US. His largest project took place in 1983 at the "Homestead Air Force Base" in Florida. He was involved with the Base's Laundry Matt system of 48 hot water panels and 5,000 gallons of hot water storage tanks. He was then promoted to Solar Service Manager to the 1,615 Solar Thermal Units located on Base housing units. Upon completion, he was promoted to Installation and Service Manager for Energy Transfer Systems (Tampa, FL) South Florida operations. Afterward, he returned to school and earned his degree. After graduation, he relocated to Asheville, NC. There, he worked on numerous "Whole House" Solar/Wood/Oil thermal heating systems and Photovoltaic Irrigation Systems.

Other Information

In 1981, RAMCO was sold and Curt's father, Jack Daniels, purchased a Golf and Country Club in Florida. Curt was taught the business literally, from the ground up. Working periodically at the Club for 26 years, Curt took over the Club in 2000 after the passing of his father. He successfully operated the Club and routinely advanced the Clubs financial records by providing value, quality and reliability. In September of 2007, realizing the state of the nation's economy, Curt negotiated the sale of the Club for $1.25 Million over the appraised value and "closed the deal" from mediation to settlement in 15 days. In the 26-year span of ownership, neither Jack nor Curt ever missed payroll or taxes.

During the lean years in Golf, Curt spent a solid 16 years as a Commercial Specialty Wall Covering and Finishing Contractor. He successfully contracted and completed Casino's, 5 Star Hotels, Malls, Theme Parks and Government Installations. Curt has acquired a vast knowledge and understanding of the complex requirements required for the successful completion of large scale commercial, Industrial and Governmental construction projects.

Curt has assembled, through his group of trusted and valued business associates, a team that understands US Nova's true vision and "bottom line" fundamentals: Value, Quality and Reliability
